An apartment project developed for the young designers' competition, Futurist.
Under the terms of the competition, the existing layout could not be changed. The main problematic area of the apartment was the entrance hall, from which six doors led to other rooms. The solution became wood joinery, the main function of which was to divide a family area from a private area. Inside the joinery itself, a dressing area was formed.
The apartment is divided into three blocks: a family space block, a parents' block, and a kid's block. Each of them has its own color palette.
All materials and colors used in the project work in contrast. So the deep green color of the family area contrasts with the delicate pistachio color of the bedroom and the creamy yellow color of the children's room. At the same time, the metal and lacquered walnut veneer used in the finishing of the kitchen facades works in contrast with the delicate bouclé fabric in the upholstery of the sofa and the light-toned oak parquet.
