The project of an apartment for a mother and a son in Saint Petersburg. The apartment's layout has undergone minimal changes since the original one from the developer was well-thought-out and met the needs of the client. A built-in wardrobe in the hallway and a dressing room in the kid's bedroom became a small addition.
The main element of the family space is the kitchen, which smoothly flows into the living room and then into the corridor in the form of panels. This decision made it possible to visually structure the complex geometry of the room as well as expand the working area of the kitchen towards the living room, thereby increasing its functionality.
Dark green has become the main color of the apartment. It was used to paint the carpentry in the living room as well as the walls of the guest bathroom. Complementary colors are warm pink in the form of terrazzo tiles in the hallway, banana yellow in the bathroom, deep blue in the bedroom, and sky blue in the kid's room. The main bonding material of the apartment is oak parquet in a French herringbone layout, complemented by terrazzo in different shades, softwood plywood and glossy glazed tiles.
This project was created in Sasha Levina Design Studio.
