The original feature of the apartment is its eight windows facing three sides. A glass block partition was added to bring even more natural light from the small home office into the living room. In this space, the kitchen seamlessly transitions into the library and a compact workspace. This solution helped to smooth out the irregular geometry of the room and maximize functionality while ensuring the space remained airy and balanced. A rich creamy tone was chosen for the living room, with the entire space drenched in this shade. It contrasts beautifully with the tinted plywood and glossy green tiles.
The idea of fully immersing a space in one color continued into the bedroom, where a green shade closely matching the tiles, was selected. The bathroom with a window is painted in a sky-blue shade that beautifully shifts throughout the day. A custom carpentry element was designed to conceal utilities, provide storage, and balance the geometry of the room, allowing a mural inspired by the clients' pets to seamlessly integrate. The guest bathroom is painted in a light pink shade that matches the color of the dining table.
